**Taurethar, the Aeriador Pantheon of Deities**

Description

The pantheon of deities recognized and worshiped in Aeriador. These post-SA 1000 and the God-Slaying event of Lamashtu, and the Circle of Six have ascended. The One God in Aeriador is the God above Gods. In the Forgotten Realms he is known as AO, the Alpha and Omega; in Middle-Earth, He is Eru, the Eternal Flame; in Aeriador he is known as the Living Ambition

The Living Ambition has sealed off Aeriador from all other gods except those gods that are now known as the Taurethar.  The Taurethar is broken up into three groups, the Aratari (Greater Gods), the Olmentari (Lesser Gods), and the Kementari (Celestials). Each deity will have a Divine Rank to represent their level of power in the Pantheon, and they will have stats listed for their Avatar.

Aerendyl, High King of the Gods, has decreed that all of the Taurethar will assume the form of an elf in perfect form. Only those Celestials that are elemental in their nature are exempt from this requirement. Those who must assume the elven form must be of perfect shape and beauty, taller than elves. The Aratari assume the form of elves that are 9+ feet tall. The Olmentari assume the form of elves that are 8+ feet tall, and the Kementari assume the form of elves that are 7+ feet tall. Only those who reside permanently in Aeriador and need to blend in with society more closely can assume the form of an elf at normal heights of 6+ feet tall.

The Dead Deities of Aeriador: (these deities are the same as their Forgotten Realms counterparts)

Tyr - worshipped primarily in Henneth Annun, Henneth Sonnun, Arnor, Ered Amon, and Ered Bruien

Silvanus

Eilistraee - the patron of Faeryl for her Drow heritage, and the mother-goddess of all goodly Drow, Eilistraee is the same on Aeriador as she is in the Forgotten Realms

Lathander - same as from Forgotten Realms: diety of creativity, dawn, renewal, birth, athletics, spring, self-perfection, vitality, and youth brought to Aeriador through one of his most devoted clerics, Zemira.
