Genesis and Theta

In the beginning, there was Amara the Psion Demon Lord, and she was alone in the universe without other psions to call her own.

She reached out into to void in search of other psionic presences. That's how Morgan was discovered.  Amara took Morgan in and trained her as an apprentice. She was please to find a kindred being, but that's where their similarities ended. Morgan had a kind and gentle heart which was one of the first things Amara tried to change.  As Morgan grew in power, Amara saw the potential power that could be reaped from psionic energy. She then began collecting any psionic sensitive beings and referred to her organization as "Genesis."

Amara's goal on the surface was to guide new psions into their abilities, but her true intentions were to later use them for her own benefit. She would manipulate students to pledge themselves into service promising them great power and adventure.

After Morgan realized what Amara was doing with Genesis, she abandoned the organization and left the tutelage of Amara. She took as many of the others as she could with her and fled to the north. She found a secluded mountain area near Loch Celwyn and started to mentor her followers in a different way. The new group was referred to as "Theta."

She the group in a remote location away from the distractions and, most importantly, away from Amara.

With Morgan guiding them, foundlings discovered their connection to their psionics. Some realized they were merely sensitive and didn't wish to continue advancing. This was accepted as a option, and they were free to return home. Others presented more abilities and ambition and found where thrived.

At a certain level, they were assessed. If they passed the general test, they were assigned a master to continue their training as an apprentice. The master chosen was based on the abilities and strengths of the student.

When the apprentice reached a certain point in their training, they were offered a membership to Theta.

Theta is an organization of psions dedicated to preserving and advancing psionic knowledge and abilities. They experiment and test limits of psionic abilities as well as document and pass on knowledge.
