The city of elves of Aered Bruien, Azurespire is ruled by the elven King Orodreth and his Queen Indis. Azurespire is in close alliance with Gondolin and Celwynvian. Azurespire is approximately 50% elven, with Silver elves in the majority followed by Grey Elves. Roughly 45% of the population is human, with the remaining 5% a mix of dwarves, halfings, and a small percent of gnome merchants. Of the human population, approximately 50% is Danemar. Azurespire has 250,000 residents.

Outside of the Isles of Gelmar, the primary residence of elves in the northern realms is within the three main elven cities of Azurespire, Celwynvian, and Gondolin. 

Azurespire is an elven cultural landmark dating back to the First Age of Aeriador and was heavily settled by elves that did not make the journey to Arvandor. 

Azurespire is home to the highly respected College of Ollamh, one of the main seven bardic colleges of Aeriador.
