Aered Amon

Known for its high, snow capped mountains, the cold waters of Loch Celwyn, and the white towers of Celwynvian, Aered Amon is one of the several kingdoms of the northern continent of Aeriador. It is home to many small towns and villages, lakes and rivers, and the mighty mountain range called the Whitehorn Mountains. The massive and majestic Loch Celwyn lives in the middle of the country surrounded by mountains and forests. Many small fishing villages make their home near the lake. The white towers of Celwynvian and its high walls is home to humans, many elves, half elves, and a fair share of halflings and dwarves. The jewel of the north, Celwynvian is the capital of Aered Amon and the sister-city to Azurespire of Aered Bruien.

Notable places to visit if you have time are the ever-frozen location of Ye Frosty Mug, a tavern and inn in the difficult to reach island off the coast of the town Frostrest, the mysterious and extremely difficult to reach Priory of Zion, home to a roughly 30 practitioners of the lost art of psionics, for which they have removed themselves from the reaches of civilization to practice and hone their art of mind-over-matter. The "Psions of Zion" as they call themselves, are a benevolent group of psionicists who go out of their way to find others in need of help using their various powers of clairsentience. And of course, if you visit Aered Amon without visiting the white towers of Celwynvian, well then you haven't visited Aered Amon.
